Scholarship Category and Application Requirements


The applicant must be non-Chinese, in good health, and between 16 and 35 years old (Chinese language teacher in post can be under 45).

Scholarship Category Qualifications Duration of Scholarship
Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL)

- Bachelor degree or its equivalent

- HSKK (Intermediate Level)

- HSK Level 5, with a score of over 210 for full scholarship applicants

- HSK Level 5, with a score of over 180 for partial scholarship applicants
 Two years
one academic year students

- HSK Level 3 with a score of at least 270

- HSKK certificate
 One year
One semester students

- HSK Level 3 with a score of at least 270

- HSKK certificate

- Have never studied in China		 One semester
