1. Application form for Confucius Institute Scholarship. Log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website, fill and submit the application form online, print it applicant's signature and attach electronic copies of the following application materials:

2. Photocopy/scanned copy of passport data page.

3. Scanned copies of HSK and HSKK Result Report.

4. Notarized photocopy of highest diploma certificate (or proof of study) and academic transcripts.

5. Recommendation Letter and Letter of Commitment. Students attending Chinese language programs of universities in countries with no Confucius Institutes shall attach a recommendation letter signed and issued by the university President. Applicants for MTCSOL are required to submit two recommendation letters in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors. And they are also required to submit a signed commitment stating that they will be engaged in Chinese teaching for at least 5 years after graduation (should be written in Chinese).

6. Applicants under 18 should submit relevant legal documents of their legal guardians in China.

7. Winners of the finals of the "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and High School Students should submit their scholarship certificates, while winners of preliminary rounds of the "Chinese Bridge" Proficiency Competitions should provide proof of scholarship award and recommendation letters issued by the organizers.

8. Chinese language teachers shall submit certificate of employment and recommendation letters provided by the institutions they work for.
